Ring in the New Year with Radiohead

If you’re still trying to figure out what to do for New Year’s Eve, you could always stay in, as Radiohead will air a special performance on Dec. 31 and Jan. 1! Details below.

A special performance by Radiohead will be aired exclusively in the USA by Current TV on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. The band will be performing all of the tracks from its newest album, In Rainbows, for a taped, private, hour-long performance, which will run commercial-free on Current TV and on current.com simultaneously.

Broadcast times:
Current TV
* December 31, 2007:
• 9 p.m. PST / 12 a.m. EST
• 10 p.m. PST / 1 a.m. EST
* January 1, 2008:
• 5 a.m. PST / 8 a.m. EST
• 6 p.m. PST / 9 p.m. EST

    discbox show and tell? excellent idea. I can be found outside of LACMA every afternoon from 12-4 pm. I will be sitting out in front of the museum in a lawn chair and my discbox will be on display. I will allow concerned parties to handle my discbox so long as they agree to wear white felt gloves and to not look directly at it for more than 35 seconds at a time (safety precautions, we don’t want anyone fainting now, do we?). I will provide a tip jar as well.

    what better way to begin 2008? anybody else happy to hear a version of “videotape” that sounded like the live version from their last tour? the whole “scotch mist” webcast was excellent.
