One of our favorite acts at EDC will also be playing their own headlining show this weekend! Electronic dance music artist Hayla will now be coming to Los Angeles for an 18+ tour date at the Fonda Theatre on Friday, September 4, as part of “The Dark Tour.” Joining Hayla will be opener Ella Rosa.

It’s already September, Scenestar readers. The year is flying by, and we’re heading into the heavier concert-calendar months with our Show of the Night title run starting with BTS! After serving their military duties in their native Korea as part of their four-year hiatus, the Bangtan Boys have scheduled four local tour dates at SoFi Stadium starting tonight in Inglewood.
You can also see BTS live at SoFi Stadium on Wednesday, September 2; Saturday, September 5; and Sunday, September 6. The last time BTS toured together was as part of their Permission to Dance on Stage shows back in 2021.

Thursday is looking like a great day to check out some live music, and we’re heading to Santa Barbara to catch a legend and our pick for Show of the Night: David Byrne! Former Talking Heads frontman David Byrne will be kicking off the first of two “Who Is The Sky? Tour” shows tonight at the Hollywood Bowl with the USC Trojan Marching Band and Stroll Groove, led by choreographer Joe Brown, opening the show.

We’re not quite done with Olivia Rodrigo, Scenestar readers! After her upcoming set at Daisy Chain Fields music festival at Great Park Live on Saturday, August 29, Olivia Rodrigo will be adding to her already busy schedule an intimate rooftop show with a Q&A at the Ray Charles Terrace at the Grammy Museum at L.A. Live on Tuesday, September 1. The Q&A will be moderated by award-winning filmmaker and author Cameron Crowe and will be followed by a short acoustic set.
The performance is in conjunction with the opening of the Grammy Museum’s “Olivia Rodrigo: The Cure Unraveled,” two-part exhibit that explores the making of Olivia’s “the cure” music video through original sets, artwork, behind-the-scenes photography, interactive experiences, and more opening on Wednesday, September 2, and ends on February 22, 2027 on their Third Floor Gallery.
Olivia Rodrigo will then return next year for a series of shows in support of her latest release, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, at Intuit Dome on Tuesday, January 12; Wednesday, January 13; Saturday, January 16; Sunday, January 17; Wednesday, January 20; Thursday, January 21; Sunday, January 24; Monday, January 25; Thursday, January 28; and Friday, January 29. The Last Dinner Party and Devon Again will be the scheduled openers.

One of our favorite acts at Daisy Chain Fields will also be playing their own headlining show next week! Eli Miller, a.k.a Eli, is set to headline a show at the Fonda Theatre on Wednesday, September 2, as part of their “Strange Girl (Live on Stage) Tour.”
You can also catch Eli at the Daisy Chain Fields music festival at Great Park Live on Saturday, August 29, followed by two opening slots for Zara Larsson at the Greek Theatre on Tuesday, September 29, and Wednesday, September 30.

Canadian singer-songwriter Jessie Reyez is back on the road in her biggest tour ever! Performing in support of her 4th studio album release, A Little Vengeance, Jessie Reyez will be taking on the Kia Forum on Monday, November 9.
