We finally have another music festival coming to Indio later this year, courtesy of the newly announced 18+ Head Trip music festival at the Empire Polo Club! Goldenvoice will be bringing back a new and different edition of Desert Trip and Power Trip to Indio, Calif., featuring electronic music, which will take place from Saturday, October 10, to Sunday, October 11.

The full festival lineup has officially been announced and includes Calvin Harris with Under Construction (Fisher + Chris Lake), Peggy Gou b2b Four Tet, and Seth Troxler b2b Ben Sterling on Saturday, October 10, and Swedish House Mafia, Skrillex, Dom Dolla b2b Kettama, The Blessed Madonna, and DJ Harvey on Sunday, October 11. Floating Point’s Sunflower Sound System will be getting people grooving all weekend long.

The festival will be taking place at the same venue that Goldenvoice uses to host both Coachella and Stagecoach, as well as their previous one-off festivals, The Big 4, Desert Trip, and Power Trip.

Passes for Head Trip 2026 will go on sale on Friday, March 13, at 11 a.m. PT via AXS, which you can sign up for to get the chance to purchase at that time here via Tunespeak to receive a unique presale code to secure your tickets early. Remaining passes will go on sale to the public on Friday, March 13, at noon PT.

Pricing ranges from $399 to $499 each plus taxes and shipping for GA passes, $489 to $589 each plus service fees for GA passes with a shuttle pass, and between $799 each plus taxes and shipping for their VIP option. There is also a 2-day GA 4-pack available that drops the price by $10 each, while supplies last.

Camping is priced at $129 for car camping or tent camping, $258 plus fees for up-front car camping. Preferred parking is also available for $199 plus fees, anytime shuttles for $100 plus fees, and scheduled departure shuttles for $195 plus fees.

You can also make monthly payment installments via a payment plan. The deposit amount is just $99 to start, with equal monthly payments, with the remaining balance due by the middle of July.
