We’re back, Scenestar readers! Just to give you an update, our host of 19 years, Typepad, decided to sunset on Tuesday, September 30, and gave us a five-week advance notice to find a new home for our website. That meant moving over 19 years of content to a new host, WordPress. We spent weeks building a new and improved website, including a newly upgraded concert calendar, only for our work to be deleted. We then spent two days trying to rescue our legacy content and barely made it minutes before Typepad went offline. Up until today, we spent a week building a functional website instead of trying to rebuild what we lost for now. About 6 to 12 months of work in 5 weeks isn’t bad, but we’re here. Thank you for your support and patience, and of course all donations are welcome to help in our lost revenue while down. If not, we’re here to serve Los Angeles regardless, as always. Anyways, our Show of the Night selection for our new home: Dua Lipa! English singer-songwriter Dua Lipa will be placing her second to last show in Los Angeles tonight at the Kia Forum with opener Cil.

The London born, Kosovo raised pop act will play one more time at the Kia Forum on Wednesday, October 8, as part of the “Radical Optimism Tour.”
