King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard

Back again to play in support of their latest release, Phantom Island, is King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard! The Australian psych band out of Melbourne will follow up their show last year in Inglewood at the Kia Forum with a return date with conductor Sarah Hicks and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra live at the Hollywood Bowl on Sunday, August 10. DJ Crenshaw and KCRW DJ Tyler Boudreaux will be hyping fans up leading up to King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard's performance.

We're giving our readers a chance to attend courtesy of our contest for a pair of tickets to the Hollywood Bowl show!

To win tickets, send us an entry with your full name, contact number, contact info, and whatever else you want to say (with the concert name in the subject line) to contest@thescenestar.com before Friday, August 8, at 1 p.m. Be sure to check your spam folder to see if you got a reply from us that you won our contest. Tickets will be delivered digitally to your Hollywood Bowl app via text or email if chosen. If you don't win, tickets to see King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard on their local "Phantom Island Tour" are on sale now via the venue's ticketing site for $23 to $172 each plus service fees.

They blend genres of garage rock, progressive rock, metal, jazz, and microtonal experimentation, creating a kaleidoscopic catalog that defies easy categorization. The energetic live shows, cult-like fanbase, and willingness to push musical boundaries create a legendary atmosphere!
