Jamie XX's dream club set-up "The Floor" is finally coming to Los Angeles! The XX member's 21+ 5-night bespoke pop-up club residency will take place at a yet undisclosed location in Downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday, July 30; Wednesday, July 31; Thursday, August 1; Friday, August 2; and Saturday, August 3rd.
Previous guests to "The Floor" have included appearances by Charli XCX, George Daniel, Romy, Daphni, 2ManyDJs, John Glacier, Jockstrap, Axel Boman, Two Shell, Yu Su, Lil Silva, MJ Cole, DJ Python, and many more.
Speaking on "The Floor," Jamie XX explains “For years I’ve been dreaming of opening my own club, a place that represents my experiences in the best of London’s underground club scene; the intimacy, the community, the curation, the sound…. We debuted this concept in London at Venue MOT for 10-nights in May and I’m excited to announce we’ll bring The Floor to Brooklyn and Los Angeles for 5-nights in each city this month. See you on The Floor.”
Tickets to "The Floor" will go on sale on Wednesday, July 17, at noon PT via Resident Advisor for $40 each plus service fees. The tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable so make sure you have your crew set.
