Hot Hot Heat

We have some more indie rock nostalgia from the aughts making its return courtesy of Hot Hot Heat! The band has announced they will be reuniting in some form via their social media platforms and on their website. The reformed Hot Hot Heat will consist of Steve Bays on keyboards and lead vocals, Paul Hawley on drums, Dante DeCaro on guitar, and Parker Bossley on bass.

There's no word yet on any official plans to embark on a North American tour (or even Canadian or internationally) or rumored festival appearances, but the band will be releasing their first single since 2016, "Shock Me, on December 1 on all streaming platforms.

This is the Canadian indie rock act's first news about getting back together in seven years after breaking up in 2016 following the release of their last self-titled album.

The last time Hot Hot Heat performed live in Los Angeles was at a month-long residency at the now-defunct Bootleg Theater back in 2010.

We will keep you posted on any Los Angeles tour dates to see Hot Hot Heat live at a venue near you, Scenestar readers!
