We have yet another goth-themed nostalgia festival on the horizon, Scenestar readers! This time it's Darker Waves hitting the beach when they host a collection of your favorite bands at City Beach in Huntington Park on Saturday, November 18.
Some of the artists scheduled to perform include New Order, Tears for Fears, The B-52’s, Echo and the Bunnymen, Soft Cell, Devo, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, The Psychedelic Furs, The Cardigans, X, Violent Femmes, Molchat Doma, The English Beat, She Wants Revenge, Kavinsky, Cold Cave, and many more.
Tickets to Darker Waves at City Beach will go on sale on Friday, June 23, at 2 p.m. via Frontgate for $199 to $265 each plus service fees for general admission or $19.99 down with a payment plan. GA+ will be priced at $355 to $405 each plus service fees or $19.99 down with a payment plan, which includes access to air-conditioned restrooms and a dedicated entry lane at the main entrance. VIP will be priced at $565 to $605 each plus service fees or $19.99 down with a payment plan, which includes the same things as GA+, access to charging stations, and a preferred viewing area by the main stage.
Ultimate VIP will be priced at $1,750 each plus service fees or $19.99 down with a payment plan, which includes everything that VIP includes, plus access to elevated & unobstructed views of both main stages with shaded, open lounge seating, a locker, swag, drink and food vouchers, access to an exclusive bar, and a personal concierge on-site.
