Alabama Shakes vocalist Brittany Howard will be in town next week for a solo show! You can see her perform live in support of her solo debut release Jamie when she headlines the Hollywood Bowl on Saturday, September 18 as part of KCRW World Festival concert series. Jamila Woods and Georgia Anne Muldrow are the scheduled openers with KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic's Novena Carmel hosting the show. We're giving our readers the opportunity to attend courtesy of a ticket contest for this show!
To enter to win, send your full name and contact info to contest@thescenestar.com by Wednesday, September 15, at 10 a.m. for the chance to win a pair of tickets to the show. The winner will be sent their tickets digitally (via e-mail or text) to avoid having to go to Will Call to minimize contact. The winner must reply to the e-mail/answer our call in order to confirm that they are able to attend the show in order to receive their tickets so please check your SPAM folder. If we don't hear from you, we will draw another name until a winner can be confirmed. Hotmail entries will not be accepted, so please use a different e-mail account if you have one.
