The Bravery

For those of you wanting to get your indie rock nostalgia of the aughts on, The Bravery is ready to provide it this year! The band has announced they will be reuniting in some form via their social media platforms and on their website. There's no word yet on any official plans on releasing new music or embarking on a North American tour. This is the New York indie rock act's first news about getting back together in seven years.

Lead singer Sam Endicott had stated in 2014 through The Bravery's website and Facebook page that "all the members were taking part in separate avenues of creative interests and that there were no plans for The Bravery in the foreseeable future." Catch up with who The Bravery are with our 2007 interview here. We will update you on any Los Angeles tour dates to see The Bravery live at a venue near you, Scenestar readers!

STATEMENT

Dear friends –

Let it be known, it’s been too long. The same anxious tide that once birthed the Bravery has returned, and, thankfully is again receding. The solace of the wilderness, once so alluring to me, has slowly slowly lost it’s lonely luster. The neon shimmer glints our eyes, and we miss you.

More to come… -S

What a fun video, I had forgotten all about The Bravery. Kind-of a cross between Killers and Strokes? I saw them the second time they came through Los Angeles, I think, at the Troubadour in 2007. Can’t wait to see what they come up with next!

I feel so lucky to have their music in my life
