The music community has been hit hard during the COVID-19 crisis. As a small, independently-owned venue, The Hotel Café is no exception to that. Music venues across the world have had to close their doors with no idea of when—or if—they’ll be able to reopen. It’s an uncertain time for everyone. In an effort to preserve the culture of live music, and in an effort to support their staff and community of artists, The Hotel Café has partnered with the UnCancelled Music Festival through StageIt, where the Hollywood music venue will have a branded, featured virtual stage running from Thursday, April 2 through Thursday, April 9, where fans can pay what they want to check it out. Hamish Anderson, Colbie Caillat, Zane Carney, William Fitzsimmons, Lili Kershaw, Emily Kinney, Meiko, JP Saxe, Vincint, and more are scheduled to perform.
You can also visit the link to The Hotel Café's COVID-19 Relief Fund donation page to support the venue directly as well. 100% of the proceeds benefit their staff. Some L.A. debuts or intimate shows that The Hotel Café has hosted in the past include performances by Adele, Band of Skulls, Gary Clark Jr., Leonard Cohen, Hozier, Michael Kiwanuka, The Lumineers, Bruno Mars, John Mayer, Mumford and Sons, Katy Perry, Damien Rice, Ed Sheeran, Sia, and more.
This event will help support The Hotel Café's staff, support our community of artists, and support the music community at large through giving to the Recording Academy’s MusiCares Emergency Financial Assistance Fund. Check out their confirmed lineup and set times below.
