Goldenvoice is back with another great nostalgia festival following last year’s Just Like Heaven and Pasadena Daydream Festival! This time it comes courtesy of Cruel World Festival taking place the Grounds at Dignity Health Sports Park on Saturday, May 2, with Bauhaus, Blondie, and Morrissey co-headlining the event. The list of curated Goth and New Wave acts include sets by The Church, Cold Cave, Devo, Echo & The Bunnymen, Gary Numan, The Psychedelic Furs, Public Image Ltd., She Wants Revenge, Violent Femmes, and many more.
Tickets to Cruel World at Dignity Health Sports Park will go on sale to the public on Friday, February 14, at 12 p.m. via the festival ticketing site with tiered pricing starting at $135 to $165 each plus service fees for general admission, $225 to $250 each plus service fees for VIP, and $350 each plus service fees (Which includes a special viewing area and preferred parking). Either VIP option grants you everything a GA ticket provides, plus dedicated VIP entry, access to the VIP area adjacent to the main stage, air-conditioned restrooms, additional shade and seating areas, exclusive food & beverage vendors and a commemorative festival poster.
