The Cure are back this summer with an amazing festival lineup! Pasadena Daydream Festival is coming to Brookside at the Rose Bowl on Saturday, August 31, The Cure has teamed up with Goldenvoice to curate a day of music featuring a headlining set by the legendary alternative rock act which will also feature performances by Pixies, Deftones, Mogwai, Throwing Muses, The Joy Formidable, Chelsea Wolfe, The Twilight Sad, Emma Ruth Rundle and Kælan Mikla. The event will be similar to The Cure’s Meltdown concert at London’s Hyde Park last year, but it is not a Disintegration anniversary show according to The Cure frontman Robert Smith.
Tickets to Pasadena Daydream Festival at the Rose Bowl will go onsale on Friday, May 17, at 12 p.m. at festival ticketing site for $149 (+ $1 charity + fees = $177.00) for general admission, $299 (+ $1 charity + fees = $337) for VIP, along with a preferred parking options for $40 (+ $1 charity + fees). $1 from every ticket sold will go towards music and arts education organizations and local charities, which include $1 from every ticket sold will go towards music and arts education organizations and local charities, which include Mr. Holland’s Opus, Little Kids Rock, Free Arts for Abused Children, Inner-City Arts and The Painted Turtle. A VIP Ticket grants you everything a GA ticket provides, plus dedicated VIP entry, access to the VIP area adjacent to the main stage, air-conditioned restrooms, additional shade and seating areas, exclusive food & beverage vendors and a commemorative festival poster.
