Summer isn’t over in this Crush Club video. Shot in Ibiza, the music video’s club-thumping energy gets us ready for the weekend! (Is it Friday yet?)
We don’t know much about this group, but we’re into this track! Here’s what we do know: We found out about this video from Sofi Tukker‘s Instagram stories. (That’s right we’re out here doing some hard investigative journalism for you Scenestar readers!) We’re guessing they’re from New York because their social media handles say “CrushClubNYC.” It looks like the original version of “We Dance” was uploaded on their Soundcloud about a year ago. About the video per Crush Club, “We wrote the song in Ibiza a few years back and so it was only fitting that the video be filmed there. Receiving a surprise call from our friend Purple Disco Machine, he invited us to perform the track during his set at a Defected party, and so this video captures that dream moment for us and some other magic fun of the island.” The song itself has all the 90s dancefloor vibes of Crystal Waters and Fatboy Slim and we are so down with it. We dance, indeed!
