Kauf and Kauf touring member Joseph August's own record label, One/Half, is seeing its second release with Grayson's single for "Brother." To celebrate, this indie label is having a release party at Woodcat in Echo Park, on the same day of the release (October 16th), which is a special place for all parties involved. Says Kauf, "Woodcat happens to be the spot where Grayson met their manager, and where we first met to talk about working together."
"[Grayson is an] LGBTQ artist like myself, but who faced additional difficulties growing up in the Mormon church, who we’re honored to work with," states Kauf on his Instagram account about this non-binary American singer/songwriter.
"Brother" is out on October 16th. Grayson reveals a little insight on the track on One/Half's Soundcloud: "Brother is about the sometimes chaotic relationship with yourself, and everyone else. It was an overly genuine process, that happened surprisingly sudden. It was simple to come to, and I think the producer and I both knew the weight of that."
"Brother" single release party is happening on Tuesday, October 16th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Woodcat Coffee, 1532 Sunset Blvd. in Echo Park, Los Angeles.
