KCRW are set to open their new building with an invitation to the public to come check it out! You can celebrate along with KCRW with three FREE Summer Nights parties at KCRW HQ with the first one taking place tonight with Ali Shaheed Muhammad (of A Tribe Called Quest) and composer Adrian Younge's latest project, The Midnight Hour, performing as an 18-piece band. KCRW DJs Garth Trinidad and Travis Holcombe will be spinning tunes throughout the night. Evan Kleiman of KCRW's Good Food has chosen her favorite food trucks to be on-hand with special summer cocktails being served and even a Beat Swap Meet selling vinyl.
Jim James (of My Morning Jacket) will also be performing at KCRW HQ on Saturday, August 11, and Henry Rollins will spin a set on Saturday, August 18. Click below for more details to check KCRW HQ as part of this year's Summer Nights concert series!
