Johnny Marr has scheduled an intimate string of North American tour dates, during which he’ll perform his new album Call the Comet, which will be released June 15. Of the album, he explains: “It’s set in the not-too-distant future and is mostly concerned with the idea of an alternative society. The characters in the songs are searching for a new idealism, although there are some personal songs in there too. It’s something that people like me can relate to.” L.A. fans can see him headline an all-ages show at the Teragram Ballroom on Tuesday, June 5.
