Martin Luther King Jr. was killed on April 4, 1968, at 7:05 p.m., and to commemorate the 50th anniversary of his death, Stevie Wonder released a music video entitled “The Dream Still Lives.” The video features several big names, including Barack and Michelle Obama, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Dave Chappelle, Janelle Monáe, Elton John, and Mary J. Blige.

Of the video, posted yesterday at 7:05 p.m. Central time, Stevie Wonder wrote: “On April 4th, 1968 at 7:05 p.m. central time, Dr. King’s life was cut tragically short. 50 years later a need for his dream to be fulfilled is far greater than ever. Share your dream in the comments below or post your own Dream Still Lives video with #DreamStillLives. Spread love…spread hope.”
