Following a successful Retrospective Tour in the U.K., Lloyd Cole has now announced some U.S. tour dates! This upcoming tour includes an L.A. show at the Largo at the Coronet on Wednesday, June 27, and the show will feature two sets of his music from 1983 to 1996.
Tickets for this show will go on sale Friday, April 6, at 10 a.m. via Ticketfly for $40 each plus service fees. The tour date coincides with the second printing of his 2015 box set Lloyd Cole and the Commotions Collected Recordings 1983-1989 as well as the fall release of a new box set that spans his 1988-96 catalog. “These boxes are a lot of work, much of which can only be done by me. I must revisit and rediscover material. I am necessarily in retrospective mode. I have decided to embrace it,” Cole explained.
