Adult Swim has announced the first-ever Adult Swim Festival, which will be held at Row DTLA from Saturday, October 6, to Sunday, October 7. The 18+ event will feature music performances and comedy acts, with Run the Jewels as the first announced musical performer.
Cartoon Network senior vp of marketing and partnerships Jill King said of the event: “Adult Swim already does television like no one else. Now it’s time to bring that same unique approach to a one-of-a-kind festival experience. The Adult Swim Festival will feature everything fans love about us…great shows, cutting edge music, and a passionate community to enjoy it all together.”
The Early Bird Weekend Pass is on sale now via Frontgate Tickets for $195 each plus service fees; it includes complimentary access to Preview Night on October 5, priority lane access, and an extra-exclusive event experience. Single-day and weekend passes will go on sale in May.
In other news, Run the Jewels recently released a new music video for “Oh Mama,” a track from Run the Jewels 3. Directed by Juan Meza-León, the video features the characters from the Adult Swim series Rick and Morty.
