It's time once again to announce this year's Coachella sideshows, Scenestar readers! Goldenvoice has released the first wave of local Goldenvoice Presents April shows, featuring concerts with Coachella 2018 acts in and around Los Angeles. Those shows include performances by Chromeo, Cuco, The Drums, First Aid Kit, Fleet Foxes, Greta Van Fleet, Haim, Jungle, Miguel, Tom Misch, ODESZA, Angel Olsen, Perfume Genius, Portugal. The Man, Soulwax, St. Vincent, Tyler, The Creator, Jessie Ware, The War on Drugs, and many more. The venues for these upcoming shows include the Constellation Room, Echo, El Rey Theatre, Fonda Theatre, Fox Theater Pomona, Glass House, Mayan Theater, The Novo by Microsoft, Pappy & Harriet's Pioneertown Palace, Roxy, Santa Barbara Bowl, Shrine Auditorium, and Theatre at Ace Hotel, among others. We'll update this story as more shows are announced. Tickets for these "Localchella" shows go on sale starting February 16 at 10 a.m.
As previously announced, the Coachella 2018 music festival at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif., will feature headliners Beyonce, Eminem, and The Weeknd. Weekend 1 will take place April 13 to April 15, and Weekend 2 will be held April 20 to April 22. Festival passes are SOLD OUT.
