The Melvins, who performed last month at Alex’s Bar, has announced new album Pinkus Abortion Technician, which will be released April 20 via Ipecac Recordings. In a statement, the band says of the new album: “Pinkus Abortion Technician is a radically great record and was a stone groove to record. We drank a lot of coffee and enjoyed each other’s company.”
To promote the release, the band has an upcoming tour, scheduling all-ages shows at the Observatory on Thursday, July 12, and the Troubadour on Friday, July 13. Tickets for these shows will go on sale Friday, February 16, at 10 a.m. for $20 to $25 each plus service fees.
