UPDATE: Goldenvoice has officially confirmed the show as of Tuesday, September 26.
Thanks to a hint by Goldenvoice's Twitter account, we might be looking forward to the first local headlining date by Yeah Yeah Yeahs since 2013! As we announced earlier, Yeah Yeah Yeahs will be performing at The Growlers Six at the L.A. Waterfront on Saturday, October 28 and 29, featuring headliners The Growlers (performing both nights), Modest Mouse, and more in San Pedro, CA.
According to the marquee, Yeah Yeah Yeahs would possibly be performing at the Fonda Theatre after the recent news of FYF Fest 2017 act Moses Sumney moving from the Fonda Theatre on Wednesday, October 25, to El Rey Theatre on Saturday, October 21. Yeah Yeah Yeahs would probably be sharing a "Date with The Night" with Los Angeles to possibly celebrate the re-release of their album Fever to Tell, celebrating it's 15-year anniversary in 2018.
Tickets to see Yeah Yeah Yeahs at the Fonda Theatre will be going on sale on Friday, September 29, at 10 a.m. via AXS for $53 each plus service fees for the all-ages show. You can still buy two-day passes for The Growlers Six at the L.A. Waterfront are on sale now via Frontgate for $150 (early-bird GA) each plus service fees.
