Los Angeles has another opportunity to see political supergroup Prophets of Rage! The supergroup—comprised of Rage Against the Machine‘s Tom Morello, Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk; Public Enemy‘s Chuck D; Cypress Hill‘s B-Real; and DJ Lord—will host a meet and photo event at Amoeba Music in Hollywood on Thursday, September 21, at 6 p.m. To participate, purchase their self-titled album at the Hollywood record store starting Friday, September 15. ($2 from every CD/LP sold will benefit Covenant House, which works with homeless and trafficked youth.)
Prophets of Rage also will perform at Ozzfest at Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino on Saturday, November 4. Tickets are on sale now, and prices range from $29 (single-day GA lawn tickets) to $239 (two-day GA pit passes for both Ozzfest and Knotfest). There also are several VIP packages.
