After performing at Vans Warped Tour earlier this month, Streetlight Manifesto has now scheduled two shows at the Theatre at Ace Hotel on Thursday, January 25, and Friday, January 26! Well, to be more accurate, Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution will perform the songs of Streetlight Manifesto.
As the band explains: BOTAR “was made up of strictly acoustic instruments; acoustic guitars, an upright bass, violins, cellos, trumpets, saxes and more, but the music was decidedly fast tempoed and energetic, something of a contrast to the majority of the music traditionally played by said instruments. Because of limited resources and time, future plans for the project had to be put on ice for the next decade and a half or so. In its stead and from its bones, Streetlight Manifesto came screaming into this world and has been touring and releasing music since. Today, it is with hearts bursting with joy that we announce, that as of January of 2018, the ice will have completely and permanently melted. BOTAR is back, and ready to pick up where it left off.”
