Next week you’ll be able to welcome back legendary Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully! He will read excerpts of speeches and debates by Abraham Lincoln, as part of Aaron Copland‘s orchestral work Lincoln Portrait, at the Hollywood Bowl on Thursday, July 13, and Tuesday, July 18. The two shows will be conducted by Gustavo Dudamel with the L.A. Philharmonic, and both shows also feature Copland‘s Fanfare for the Common Man and Beethoven‘s Ninth Symphony. If you would like to attend one of these shows, we’re giving our readers the chance to win our ticket giveaway!
To enter to win, send your full name, contact info (with the concert name in the subject line), and the show of your choice to contest@thescenestar.com before Monday, July 10, at 12:00 p.m. If you don’t win, tickets for these all-ages shows are on sale now via the venue’s website for $8.00 to $116.00 each plus service fees.
