Emily Haines has released a new music video for “Fatal Gift,” a track from her new solo album Choir of the Mind, which will be released September 15. The video was directed by Justin Broadbent.
Regarding the song, the Metric bandmember says: “The song embodies for me the undeniable fact that no matter how high I climb, that voice, pulling me back to my essential self remains. We all pursue symbols of achievement, but utopian material promises are hollow.” Emily Haines plans to announce an upcoming solo tour, so stay tuned.
