Welcome to another week of cool concerts, Scenestar readers. Leading things off is a local tour date by Hey Violet, our Show of the Night selection! Their “first headline show of 2016” will take place tonight at the Echoplex, with opener Jessarae, in support of upcoming release Brand New Moves. You can also see Hey Violet open for 5 Seconds of Summer at the Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre on Sunday, September 4, and The Forum on Wednesday, September 7.
If you can’t get in to our Show of the Night, your other music options include performances by Kat Aagesen, Magic Bronson, The Buttertones, Charming Liars, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Jimmy Gnecco (of Ours), Kauf, Magic Bronson, Nightair, Sleeptalk, John Tejada, Nico Yaryan, Young Dolph, Zipper Club, and many more. Also, tonight is residency night in Los Angeles, so if you’re 21 and over, there’s a bunch of FREE shows by local bands that you can check out.
