Wye Oak has released a new music video for “Watching the Waiting,” a track from new album Tween, which is out now digitally via Merge Records and will be released on vinyl and CD August 5. The video, which was co-directed by Ashley North Compton and Michael Patrick O’Leary, was shot in Baltimore. Regarding the video, Compton explains: “The mirror-hair girl—inspired somewhat by the Sutherland sisters, and the concept of external-internal individuation and connection—first originated as a painting and was brought to life to emulate the song’s momentum and drive.”

As reported earlier, Andy Stack and Jenn Wasner will headline an all-ages show at the Teragram Ballroom on Saturday, July 16. Tickets for this show are on sale now via Ticketmaster for $20.00 each plus service fees. Click below to see Wye Oak next month!
