To pay tribute to the legendary Memphis band Big Star, a special show will be held with original member Jody Stephens.
Entitled Thank You, Friends: Big Star’s Third Live, the concert on Wednesday, April 27, will feature Jeff Tweedy and Pat Sansone of Wilco, Ira Kaplan of Yo La Tengo, Mike Mills, Dan Wilson, Jessica Pratt, and Robyn Hitchcock, among others, who will perform the 1978 Big Star album Third/Sister Lovers in its entirety.
The concert will be filmed as part of a DVD, which will be released in spring 2017.
