The Avett Brothers recently wrote via Facebook: “We’re heading back out on the road next spring and we can’t wait to see you all.” For Angelenos, the rock band will headline the Greek Theatre on Friday, April 29, with special guest The Milk Carton Kids.
Tickets for this all-ages show will go on sale Saturday, December 5, at 10:00 a.m. via AXS for $45.50 to $59.50 each plus service fees. The band also will have a fan club presale on Wednesday, December 2, at 12:00 p.m. You must be a fan club member to participate in the presale.
In other news, The Avett Brothers will release Live, Vol. Four on December 18, and you can preorder it now. Regarding the live album, which was recorded at a New Year’s Eve concert at the PNC Arena in Raleigh, N.C., Seth Avett said: “The energy of this show is undeniably positive and uniquely North Carolinian. I often had to remind myself that we were singing to the audience and not the other way around. There’s nothing like celebrating in an arena filled with friends and neighbors.”
