BUY TICKETS: Neil Young at the Forum
We're at the halfway point of the week already, Scenestar readers. Tonight a legend will take our Show of the Night title: Neil Young! After performing three shows at Dolby last year, Neil Young will headline the Forum tonight, in his second leg of the Rebel Content Tour in support of The Monsanto Years, with his backing band Promise of the Real. The show also will feature Neil's Village, an alliance of regional grassroots organizations, advocates, and national nonprofits, with such tents as Future of Farming, Earth Ecology, and Ban GMO. Opening the show will be Social Distortion.
If you can't get in to our Show of the Night, your other music options include performances by The Entrance Band, FFS (Franz Ferdinand & Sparks), Fruit Bats, The Gaslamp Killer, Albert Hammond Jr., DJ Marion Hodges (of KCRW), Kodaline, Lady Low, Jeremy Loops, MisterWives, PPL MVR, The Struts, Superhumanoids, Kurt Vile and the Violators, and many more. Click here for ticket links and info on all of today's shows as well as upcoming local shows on our concert calendar. For any further updates, be sure to also follow us on Twitter for any last-minute news and set times (posted daily in the comments section) if available for select shows!
Also, IT'S YOUR LAST DAY to donate or resubscribe to 89.9 FM KCRW during the radio station's fundraising drive. You can donate by calling (800) 600-5279 before the drive ends tonight.
