Carly Rae Jepsen recently released a new music video for her single “I Really Like You.” In an interview with Radio, she discussed the making of the video, which features Tom Hanks and Justin Bieber: “The song was already so sweet and romantic that I really wanted to have a flavor of like comedy or just a little to the left so [Scooter Braun] and I were talking and were like, ‘What if it’s a guy who sings it?’ I started stalking a few people who I loved and Scooter was telling this story to Tom Hanks at dinner and Tom’s like, ‘Why didn’t you guys ask me? I would do it.’ “
The Canadian singer-songwriter currently doesn’t have any local tour dates, as she has been busy starring in the Broadway production of Rodgers & Hammerstein‘s Cinderella. We’ll keep you posted on the next time Carly Rae Jepsen books a date in Los Angeles, Scenestar readers!
