We have some cool, last-minute news regarding Foo Fighters, Scenestar readers! The band tweeted yesterday: “Hey LA, what’re you doing Saturday Night … ?” This was followed today by tweets of the inside and outside of the Forum, prompting us to ask if this will be the place to be this weekend. This was confirmed today at 5:00 p.m. by ALT 98.7‘s Justin Kade, who announced details of the upcoming Foo Fighters “secret show”!
This show at the Forum on Saturday, January 10, will benefit the Rock School Scholarship Fund, with $10.00 of each ticket being donated to the nonprofit that provides scholarship funds and instruments for children ages 7 to 17. Tickets will go on sale today at 7:00 p.m. for $50.00 each plus service fees via Ticketmaster; there is a four-ticket limit for GA and an eight-ticket limit for reserved seating. Doors are at 6:00 p.m., and the concert starts at 8:00 p.m. There is no scheduled opener.
In addition, Foo Fighters have several shows this fall, performing at the Honda Center on Friday, September 18, and Saturday, September 19, and the Forum on Monday, September 21, and Tuesday, September 22.
