BUY TICKETS: Lord Huron at El Rey Theatre
We’re at the halfway point of December, but there’s still plenty of cool concert options, Scenestar readers. Tonight we’re kicking off our week with Lord Huron, our Show of the Night pick! In support of recent release Lonesome Dreams, the L.A. folk band has a hometown date at El Rey Theatre tonight with opener Escondido. The show is is a benefit concert for the David Lynch Foundation, a nonprofit that funds Transcendental Meditation (TM) programs for at-risk students, veterans with PTSD, women who are survivors of domestic violence, and homeless and incarcerated individuals.
If you can’t get in to our Show of the Night, your other music options include performances by Ryan Adams, The Black and the White, Bebel Gilberto, Girlpool, Goo Goo Dolls, ILoveMakonnen, The Sunset Drifters, Yung Lean, and many more. Also, tonight is residency night in Los Angeles, so if you’re 21 and over, there’s a bunch of FREE shows by local bands that you can check out.
