There is bad news and good news for U2 fans. First, the bad news: For those of you attending KROQ‘s 25th annual Almost Acoustic Christmas Night Two, The Edge announced this morning that U2 will not perform at the Forum on Sunday, December 14, due to Bono’s recent injury. But the good news is that the band has announced L.A. dates for the iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE Tour! U2 will headline the Forum on Tuesday, May 26; Wednesday, May 27; Saturday, May 30; and Sunday, May 31. These shows are in support of recent release Songs of Innocence. The Edge also mentioned that the band will do something special for KROQ fans to make up for the cancelation.
Tickets to see U2 at the Forum will go on sale Monday, December 8, at 10:00 a.m. for $35.00 to $280.00 each plus service fees via Ticketmaster. If you bought tickets for KROQ‘s Almost Acoustic Christmas and no longer wish to attend, the radio station is offering refunds via Ticketmaster; you must request a refund by Friday, December 12.
