Make no mistake, KCRW's Masquerade never fails to impress, which is why The Scenestar was happy to attend and enjoy the imaginative costumes as well as slamming tunes. Our last appearance was in 2009, which featured such costumes as the balloon house from Up and a bottle of Sriracha. Upon entry this year, we were greeted by a roving Lucent Dossier Experience as well as KCRW favorites Rachel Reynolds and Mario Cotto. This year's standout costumes included Prince, a "Werewolf of Wall Street," and my personal favorite: a Ghostbuster equipped with a legit proton pack reeking of the '80s.
