The Who will celebrate the band’s 50-year legacy on The Who Hits 50! North American Tour, which will include a show at the Honda Center on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015, and the Staples Center on Monday, Sept. 21, 2015.
According to the press release, “The show—described by Pete Townshend as “Hits, Picks, Mixes and Misses”—will see the band play all their classic anthems as well as tackling deeper cuts from their catalog.” Roger Daltrey adds of the upcoming tour, “This is the beginning of the long goodbye.”
Tickets for the Honda Center show will go on sale Friday, October 17, at 10:00 a.m. via Ticketmaster for $49.50 to $149.50 each plus service fees. The Staples Center show will go on sale Friday, October 17, at 10:00 a.m. via AXS for $49.50 to $154.50 each plus service fees.
There will be a fan club presale Saturday, October 11, at 10:00 a.m.; you can sign up here. Also, those who have a Citi credit card will have access to a presale on Monday, October 13, at 10:00 a.m. In addition, there will be VIP tickets available, which will include VIP preshow soundcheck, preshow VIP parties, and autographed limited-edition memorabilia.
