The New Pornographers recently released a new music video for single "War on the East Coast," a track from new album Brill Bruisers, which will be released August 26 via Matador. On the video directed by Thom Glunt, A.C. Newman explains: "We were going for some mid-nineties second tier brit pop attitude. In the past, I’ve never really wanted to be in the video. But with this, we wanted to have fun and fully be IN the video."
As we mentioned earlier, the Canadian supergroup has a show with New York's The Pains of Being Pure at Heart at the Wiltern on Friday, October 17. Tickets for the all-ages show are on sale now via Live Nation for $25.00 to $35.00 each plus service fees.
