A Winged Victory For The Sullen will release second full-length Atomos on October 7 via Kranky. Only three U.S. shows have been scheduled at this time, and lucky for Angelenos, one of them will be at the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever on Sunday, December 14! Tickets for the show are on sale now via Ticketfly for $25.00 each plus service fees.
After releasing the Atomos VII EP earlier this year, A Winged Victory For The Sullen's Adam Bryanbaum Wiltzie and Dustin O'Halloran worked on Atomos over a four-month period with sound engineer Francesco Donadello. Of the album, Wiltzie explains, "We had virtually no time for second guessing ourselves. That being said, we tried to balance the discordance between being creative, and fulfilling our duties for a commissioned soundtrack with a very strict deadline, and all the while staying true to our collective melancholy."
