It’s finally here, Scenestar readers! The lineup for FYF Fest 2014 has finally been revealed! This morning at 10:00 a.m., festival founder Sean Carlson went on 89.9 FM KCRW‘s Morning Becomes Eclectic with Jason Bentley to give the lowdown on one of our favorite local summer festivals. One big change will be moving the event from Los Angeles State Historic Park (due to renovations) to Los Angeles Sports Arena & Exposition Park near USC. Held on Saturday, August 23, and Sunday, August 24, FYF Fest 2014 will feature headliners Phoenix and The Strokes, along with Against Me!, Daniel Avery, Avey Tare’s Slasher Flicks, The Blood Brothers, Benjamin Booker, Boris, Built To Spill, Caribou, Julian Casablancas, Darkside, Death Grips, Chet Faker, Flying Lotus, Future Islands, Jacco Gardner, Grimes, Haim, Albert Hammond Jr., DJ Harvey, Interpol, Little Dragon, Man Man, Joyce Manor, Mariachi El Bronx, Connan Mockasin, Mount Kimbie, Angel Olsen, Real Estate, Run The Jewels, Slint, Slowdive, John Talabot, Todd Terje (Live), Tycho, Ty Segall, XXYYXX, and many more, which you can see on the official FYF Fest 2014 lineup poster at the jump.
Tickets for FYF Fest 2014 at Los Angeles Sports Arena & Exposition Park will be available on Thursday, May 22, at 12:00 p.m., PST, via Frontgate Tickets for $89.00 for a one-day pass and $129.00 for a two-day pass (plus service fees). One-day passes will only be available online. Two-day passes are available online as well as at select retailers, including Origami Vinyl, Vacation Vinyl, Amoeba Music, and Fingerprints Music, among others.
