To coincide with the release, King Buzzo has two upcoming headlining shows. He will perform an all-ages show at the Echo on Wednesday, June 11, as well as at the Constellation Room in Santa Ana on Thursday, June 12. Tickets for the Echo Park show are on sale now via Ticketfly for $17.00 each plus service fees. The Santa Ana show is on sale now via Ticketweb for $12.00 each plus service fees.
In addition, King Buzzo will be at the Scion A/V Rock Fest in Pomona, Calif., which is FREE with RSVP.
Regarding the acoustic songs on This Machine Kills Artists, King Buzzo explains: “I have no interest in sounding like a crappy version of James Taylor or a half-assed version of Woody Guthrie, which is what happens when almost every rock and roller straps on an acoustic guitar. No thanks… This Machine Kills Artists is a different kind of animal.” Click below to see King Buzzo perform these acoustic songs live!
