One of Goldenvoice‘s newest music festivals will come back this year! First City Festival will return to Monterey County Fair and Event Center on Saturday, August 23, and Sunday, August 24. Last year’s lineup included lots of Scenestar favorites such as Beach House, Capital Cities, Deerhunter, Devendra Banhart, Father John Misty, MGMT, Modest Mouse, Neko Case, Passion Pit, Purity Ring, Quadron, Toro Y Moi, Washed Out, and more. There is no word yet on when passes for First City Festival will go on sale via Frontgate Tickets; tickets were available in May last year. We’ll keep you posted on more info, including the lineup, to help you plan your trip to Monterey for the next edition of First City Festival in 2014!
