In addition to performing at Coachella 2014 on Friday, April 11, and Friday, April 18, The Knife has added a few more shows around the festival, including a headlining show at the Fox Theater in Oakland on Tuesday, April 15. Tickets for this Northern California show will go on sale this Friday, Jan. 17, at 10:00 a.m. via Ticketmaster for $35.00 each plus service fees. If you would like to buy your tickets early, the Fox Theater will have a presale on Thursday, Jan. 16, at 10:00 a.m. Password: FUNKY
Meanwhile, Coachella 2014 has already sold out.
The Knife's upcoming North American tour is in support of recent release Shaking the Habitual, and the shows will feature "the full potential of the electronic concert." Per The Knife's website: "In addition to bodies playing electronic music, we suggest different bodily engagements. We suggest dancing together as a mobilization, a collective moment for everyone in the room – on and off stage – to take part in." Sounds like an experience!
