As we reported earlier, Bjork recently announced upcoming shows in Hollywood this June, promoting 2011 album release Biophilia. The Icelandic singer-songwriter will headline two nights at the Hollywood Palladium on Sunday, June 2, and Wednesday, June 5, as well as one night at the Hollywood Bowl on Tuesday, June 11. Tickets for these shows will go on sale Thursday, April 4, at 10:00 a.m. The Hollywood Palladium shows are priced at $77.50 to $137.50 each plus service fees. Tickets for the Hollywood Bowl show are $35.00 to $137.50 each plus service fees. According to the Bjork press release, the Biophilia show, which features such unique musical instruments as a MIDI-controlled pipe organ and twin musical Tesla coils, is an attempt to create a unique multimedia exploration of the universe and its physical forces—particularly those where music, nature, and technology meet.
