If you’re wondering what’s going on near historic Filipinotown next week, it’s a mystery to us! Next week is “Power Forward” at the Bootleg Theater on Wednesday, Feb. 13. Billed as “Copenhagen’s Hottest Dance Club,” “Power Forward” is a 21+ one-night-only event with some Super Euro Disco with “Girls, Girls, and More Girls.” Tickets are on sale now for $100.00 each via Ticketfly.
Is it Denmark’s version of A Club Called Rhonda? Is it UCLA alumni and Minnesota Timberwolves power forward Kevin Love spinning a left-handed DJ set while he’s out with a right-hand fracture? Is it an alias for a “secret show”? Hopefully we’ll know closer to the date, but for now, we can only speculate on what “Power Forward” is before next week’s pre-Valentine’s Day show at the Bootleg Theater.
