Moby is no stranger to lending his help for a worthwhile cause—from answering phones during KCRW‘s pledge drives to performing at Avalon Hollywood in the fight against Prop 8. And now this Los Angeles resident will use his musical influence to affect local politics yet again.
Moby will team up with Will Ferrell and Jimmy Kimmel to raise funds for Eric Garcetti‘s mayoral campaign. The event will be held at the Fonda Theatre on Thursday, Feb. 7. Moby is also scheduled to perform at Coachella 2013 on Saturday, April 12, and Saturday, April 20, in Indio.
