PsIn addition to performing at this year’s Coachella 2013, The Postal Service has announced this morning that they have added some tour dates. The Postal Service‘s Ben Gibbard and Jimmy Tamborello have reunited in support of the 10-year anniversary of their 2003 album Give Up, which Sub Pop will release on Tuesday, April 9, as a special 10th anniversary deluxe reissue.

While in California for Coachella 2013, The Postal Service will also perform a show on Friday, April 12, at the Madonna Expo Center in San Luis Obispo, as well as The Chelsea Ballroom at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas on Friday, April 19. Tickets for the Las Vegas show are on sale now via a presale on the Postal Service website. The San Luis Obispo presale has yet to begin.

As an added bonus, Rilo Kiley’s Jenny Lewis and Mynabirds’ Laura Burhenn will join The Postal Service on tour. For the full list of tour dates, visit the Postal Service tour page.

The Cosmopolitan show will go on sale to the general public this Friday, Feb. 8, at 10:00 a.m. via Ticketmaster for $39.50 each plus service fees. Tickets for the Madonna Expo Center show are on sale Friday, Feb. 8, at 11:00 a.m. via Vallitix for $32.00 each plus service fees.

    What’s the deal with the San Luis Obispo show? There’s no info on about it on the Madonna Expo Center website, seems like an odd venue choice.

    I believe it’s Coachella’s radius restriction, they can’t perform in the LA area during Coachella (up to 3 months). That’s why you’re seeing Vegas and far away shows.

    No. Goldenvoice books shows in smaller venues for majority of the Coachella bands. It has nothing to do with restrictions. They’re gonna play Los Angeles they just don’t announce the shows until closer to Coachella.
