It’s back! 89.9 FM KCRW is once again asking for your help to stay on the air and continue to provide quality news and music programming. The radio station has begun their Winter Membership Drive as of today, Jan. 31, and it will continue until Friday, Feb. 8. You can listen now to see how you can help on Morning Becomes Eclectic, featuring Anne Litt and Jason Bentley. You can also call KCRW at (800) 600-9279; volunteers will be answering the phones at the radio station’s pledge room. Or you can donate online.
Things you can receive for your donation include premiums such as restaurant gift certificates, getaways, and music, and you can be entered to win prizes. (This time it’s a Kenya Safari!) For donations of $50 or more, you will receive a Fringe Benefits card, which will give you discounts all around town. The Scenestar is an enthusiastic supporter of KCRW, a radio station that is usually the first to play the new bands you grow to love, a sponsor of a lot of great shows here in Los Angeles, and a provider of great news programming throughout the day.
Tune in to 89.9 FM locally or stream live online at KCRW.com during the Winter 2013 Membership Drive, and make a pledge of any amount! You never know; it might be one of our Scenestar contributors volunteering to answer your call!
