Scenestar favorite The Black Angels is a band that we’ve been looking forward to eventually returning, and now the band is back with two local shows! The Black Angels will headline the Glass House in Pomona on Saturday, May 18, and the Mayan Theater on Thursday, May 21, in support of upcoming album Indigo Meadow, which will be released on Tuesday, April 2. The band has released a music video for the first single of Indigo Meadow, “Don’t Play With Guns,” which you can watch below.
Tickets for the Mayan Theater show will go on sale Saturday, Jan. 26, at 10:00 a.m. via Ticketmaster for $23.00 each plus service fees. If you would like to buy your tickets early, there will be a Goldenvoice presale on Friday, Jan. 25, at 10:00 a.m. We will update the story once we get the password.
